Dr. Michael Cowan

Dr. Cowan grew up in Arlington, Texas. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University. He proceeded to teach high school for two years. He attended medical school at the University of North Texas and went on to do his pediatric residency at UT Southwestern. Dr. Cowan also completed a fellowship at UT Southwestern for pediatric emergency medicine. His first position was as a Cook Children's Emergency Medicine Doctor, where he worked for 13 years. He moved on to be the medical director of Dallas Children's Medical Center in Plano. He founded his pediatric urgent care center in La Gran Plaza in 2011.

Fort Worth Concierge+ was a product of the pandemic and was brought to life in March 2020.

Dr. Cowan lives in Fort Worth with his wonderful wife Emily, daughter Kathryn, and dog Gracie. He regularly attends Christ Chapel Bible Church. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 22:39. Dr. Cowan's interests include any family activity, travel, reading, history, horticulture, bird watching, biking, and running.
